CPR Training for Sixth Form Volunteers

Our Sixth Form students have benefitted from a number of additional opportunities provided by their placement organisations during the academy’s Year 12 volunteering programme. The students who volunteered at the Norse Care run St Edmund’s in Attleborough last year were able to benefit from a range of training related to the care of the elderly. One of these training sessions, during which they were assessed by NUCO Training LTD, was the valuable life saving skill of CPR. This term we were pleased to welcome Jen Pochin,  and her team from St Edmund’s in Attleborough, to a Sixth Form assembly to award the training certificates to the group of students.
