Several EAL students from AAN were taken to London on a walking tour of one of the most multicultural cities in the world.
We alighted from the underground at Piccadilly Circus and began our walk through the thronged steets of the capital city taking in the multitude of sights along the way. London is a very busy and vibrant city with and we worked our way through the crowds from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square, along The Mall towards Buckingham Palace. From there we stopped for lunch in St. James’s Park where the students found some very hungry pigeons.
After lunch we walked along Horseguard’s Parade, Downing Street towards Westminster Bridge and Big Ben, the River Thames and the London Eye. We took the underground from Westminster to Tower Hill and walked around the perimeter of the Tower of London towards Tower Bridge.
