Remembrance

Attleborough Academy students were an absolute credit at Attleborough's Remembrance Service. They paraded as part of a range of uniformed organisations; Scouts, Guides, Cadets, etc.

The AAN wreath was laid by Amy Mathieson and Toby Clarke (year 7 recipient of the Royal British Legion award when in year 6.) Other students read aloud the ranks and names of 100 fallen solders from WW1.students while the wreaths were being laid at this memorial, and also our students took part  in Remembrance services elsewhere in our community. , 14 Attleborough members of Gt. Ellingham (St. James) Scout Group took part in their annual Acts of Remembrance, commencing this year at Gt. Ellingham church, moving to Deopham Green Airfield, then Little Elliingham Church. They attended the Academy in their uniform on Monday 11th November.
