Attleborough Academy Norfolk (AAN) is an inclusive, friendly and effective learning community with high aspirations and a reputation for innovation. Excellent relationships between students and staff are at the heart of the ethos of the Academy and are often commented on by those who come in to visit.
It's Sunday 8 February and our Year 10 Young Enterprise company have set up their stall at the Norfolk Young Enterprise Trade Fair at the Forum in Norwich. OnTop Headwear are among over fifteen other companies made up of 14-18 year olds selling their products to the general public today.
New for this year, our GCSE Business Studies students all take part in setting up and running a business of their own design for eight months during Year 10. Paige, the Marketing Director of the company had this to say on the process so far:
It's nearly that time of year when our Y11, 12 and 13 will be sitting exams. So that means it's time to get revising...
We have a broad range of resources and services available to our students to help them. A good place to start is our revision site, which along with subject specific revision resources, also has a range of hints, tips and links to other useful resources.
The Academy day will end at 13.30 on Friday 19 December 2014. Arrangements have been made with school transport providers to arrive at this time. Further details about student activities on this day can be found in the letter store on the Parent Portal.
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone from Attleborough Academy and Wymondham High Academy who have sent us such warm tributes and messages of condolence. As we mourn a beloved member of our family, we take some comfort in the knowledge that he will be remembered so fondly for the support, guidance and inspiration he gave to so many of his pupils, past and present, and to his colleagues and friends.
Attleborough Sixth Form gives me something I value as much as my education, and that is freedom and the responsibility as a Sixth Former to set an example for the main school.
Alex, Sixth Former 2014
It is an amazing community where as students we are given genuine respect and help from teachers. I have had the chance to participate in some brilliant experiences; giving me the opportunity to develop confidence as well as achieve progress in my education.
Poppy, Head Girl 2014
The teachers really want to help, and without them I wouldn't have progressed as much as I have. Nor would I have had the chance to experience some of the amazing places I've been with school.
