Attleborough Academy Record GCSE Results

Key Stage 4 (KS4) Results 2016

Progress 8: The 2016 Progress 8 Score has not yet been calculated by the Department for Education, however, we are confident that it will be positive. The 2015 Progress 8 Score was +0.28, well above the national average.

Attainment 8: The 2016 Attainment 8 score was 4.97 (C grade).

C or above in English and Mathematics: In 2016, 64% of students achieved an A*-C in both English and Mathematics. The 2016 national average is not yet available but the national average for 2015 was 56%.

English Baccalaureate: 7%. We strongly believe in offering students as much choice in their KS4 options as possible and therefore do not insist that they take EBacc qualifying subjects, though we do always give them the option to do so. In practice, only a small number of students choose to have a full set of EBacc subjects. We believe that this is what is best for our students.

Note: The Department for Education will publish the 2016 KS4 performance tables in January 2017.
